Configure IIS Logging with IIS Manager  
Microsoft completely rewired the way IIS Manager look and feels. As a result IIS Logging configuration screen changed as well. The first step to take, in order to configure IIS logging, is to open up the IIS Manager and select Logging module.

Go to Administrative Tools -> IIS and open IIS Manager and click on Logging icon. See picture below

Logging Management Panel opens up with default setting populated. You will notice default format for your logs, which is W3C. Directory for logging IIS logs will be specified as %SystemDrive%\inetpub\logs\LogFiles and Encoding type set to UTF-8.

The IIS Manager allows you to specify Logging options at server level as well as website level. Moreover, you have option of selecting what kind of information goes into your logs via selection within W3C Logging Fields panel. See picture below.
